His next of kin has been informed and will be supported by specialist officers. Staffordshire Police issued an appeal to anyone who may have witnesses what happened or has dashcam footage which could be relevant to the investigation. In a statement, Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for information after a man sadly died after a collision in Lichfield. "We were called at 1pm today (Friday 11 April) to Stafford Road in Lichfield following reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a motorbike. "Officers attended along with colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service and the air ambulance. "Sadly, the man was pronounced dead by paramedics a short time later. "His next of kin has been informed and will be supported by specialist officers. "We keen to speak to motorists who were passing at that time who may have relevant dashcam footage or witnessed what happened.
