It’s been a cold and rainy mess in New Jersey as of late but, with any luck, mid-April should be bringing some sun and warmth with it next week. Granted, it’s only a $1 discount from its regular $350 retail, but it’s still sweet, especially when you can get free same-day shipping with Prime. With its 13 one-touch programs and 6 soft serve options, you can easily make everything from creamy soft serve and rich frozen custard to refreshing fruit whips and lighter, lower-calorie treats. The CreamiFit program is new for the Swirl and inspired by the “health-conscious community’s adoration for protein ice cream with the Ninja CREAMi.” At the touch of a button, you can turn out high-protein, optimal textured licks in just one spin. Just like the Original and Deluxe versions of the CREAMi, the Swirl uses the innovative Creamerizer Paddle to “creamify” frozen-for-24-hour bases into a smooth and lush texture (with optional mix-ins). Then, you load the processed container onto the left side of the machine and pull down on the Soft Serve handle to dispense your swirl into a cup or a cone. Truth be told, the Swirl does take a little bit of practice, especially if you haven’t used a CREAMi yet, but fans say it’s all worth it. One Amazon reviewer admits that after opening the box and flipping through all the manuals and scanning all the “how to set up your Swirl” QR codes, it’s a little overwhelming, but do not despair. “You’re going to follow the detailed directions, watch the videos, take a deep breath or three, and in 24 hours you’ll never have to stop in a DQ again.
