The creators of Mythic Quest have noted that the Season 4 finale was not originally intended to serve as a series finale. In light of its cancellation, the creative team has committed to providing viewers with a new ending that will offer a sense of closure for the show's loyal audience. This updated episode is set to be made available next week, giving fans one last chance to say goodbye to the beloved characters.

The latest season revitalized the ensemble cast, including McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis, and Naomi Ekperigin, as they tackled new challenges in a rapidly evolving video game industry. The show depicted a vibrant world where professional rivalries, personal relationships, and the quest for a better work-life balance unfolded under the fluorescent lights of the office.

Mythic Quest initially featured notable performances from F. Murray Abraham and was produced by a collaboration between Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Ubisoft.
