City restaurant closes without a word The restaurant is listed as permanently closed on Google and interior furnishings have been removed Some of the venue's furnishings has now been removed from inside A Baltic Triangle restaurant has closed its doors without saying a word. The Horus Bar and Grill has been found on Sefton Street for around the last year or so. The venue prided itself on serving Egyptian food, with everything from kebabs to lamb chops and kofta on its menu. Stuffed grape leaves, mulukhiyah, and baba ghanoush rounded off the offerings. Article continues below The restaurant was a go-to for many in the Muslim community because of its halal meat option. However, Horus Bar and Grill has now remained shut for several weeks, with some of the interior furnishing being removed. It is also listed as being permanently closed on Google. The ECHO reached out to the company for comment. The Horus Bar and Grill Instagram page also appears to have been deleted. Horus Bar and Grill is found at Three Sefton Street in the Baltic Triangle The news comes just days after another Baltic Triangle food vendor announced its closure. The Baltic Market took to social media to announce that Richies, would be leaving the food court very soon. Richie's has been at the Baltic Triangle premises for a number of years now. It serves everything from cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets to loaded fries and hotdogs. However, this will no longer be the case from next week as the company said it is ready for a “new chapter”. Announcing the news on Instagram, the Baltic Market wrote: “We've got some huge, and potentially heartbreaking, news. Richie's will be leaving us next week. We're making way for a brand-new trader to join us and serve up some next-level scran that we know will blow you away. “We've been beyond lucky to have such a creative, passionate team behind Richie's! Who remembers the Cheetos mozzarella stick? Iconic. “While Richie may return in one form or another in the future, we're closing the burger chapter and bringing you something completely fresh. Massive love to every team member, past and present. You're all absolute legends.” Worker Anthony Ricardo previously told the ECHO that even though the Baltic Market can be “crazy”, the venue’s atmosphere made it all “worthwhile”. He said: “It's boss. Baltic Market is one big family and like being with all your mates in one place on the daily.” Article continues below It comes just weeks after The Baltic Market announced it would be opening a new food hall miles away from Merseyside. Named St Paul’s Market and located in Birmingham, the company hopes it will be “the best in the UK.”
