A major supermarket has announced an important change to its supermarket pricing. READ MORE: Aldi urges shoppers who visit supermarkets with their children to act now Between Wednesday, April 16 and Sunday, April 20, shoppers will be able to purchase the essentials for every roast dinner for a bargain price as long as they have their Nectar Card. ‌ For fans of the classic swede mash, a Sainsbury's British swede can be picked up for only 15p, and it doesn't stop there. Loyalty card holders can also snag 500g of British parsnips, a whopping 2kg of British white potatoes and 1kg of British carrots for only 15p each. If you don't have a Nectar card, a membership can be created by downloading the Nectar app on your phone and signing up. ‌ The grocer has announced selected Easter meals will also be slashed by 50 per cent. Due to trading regulations, larger shops must close on Easter Sunday due to legal regulations. Sainsbury's will be be open from 7am until 10pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday and will close all of its shops in the UK on Sunday, aside from in Scotland.
