Street Fighter 6 Season 3 DLC Lineup Unveiled with Sagat Leading the Charge
In an exciting announcement made during the recent Capcom Spotlight event, fans of Street Fighter 6 were treated to a full reveal of the Season 3 downloadable content (DLC) lineup. The highly anticipated roster features fan-favorite characters including Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid. Notably, the legendary Muay Thai king, Sagat, will be the first to join the battle, with his release slated for August 5, 2025, right after the prestigious Evo 2025 tournament.
During the event, Capcom unveiled a teaser trailer for Sagat, showcasing his reimagined presence in the game. The trailer serves as a glimpse into his new design and includes his introduction cutscene from the World Tour mode, setting the stage for his return to the franchise. Fans are eager to see more of his gameplay mechanics and visual updates, though a full gameplay trailer is still forthcoming, as confirmed by Director Takayuki Nakayama. “The character and Fighting Pass content we revealed today are in their final stages of tweaking, and the team is working hard on making sure we deliver,” Nakayama stated. “By the way, we're planning to release a Sagat gameplay trailer at a later date, so we hope you enjoy it.”
Additionally, the announcement included the first round of Outfit 4 content, which is set to feature new looks for seven characters: Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I.. This is the first major update for character outfits since the release of Outfit 3, which debuted a year and a half ago. The new swimsuit costumes will launch in tandem with Sagat’s update on August 5, offering players fresh customization options for their favorite fighters.
Furthermore, Capcom has outlined the details for the Sagat Arrives! Fighting Pass, which will be available starting July 4. This pass will introduce new content to the Fighting Ground mode, including exciting new EX costume colors for iconic characters Ryu and Ken, marking the beginning of Season 3 updates. As part of the pass, players can also look forward to a variety of rewards including Sagat-themed avatar gear, titles, music, challenger screens, stickers, emotes, and even classic arcade game content such as Tiger Road.
After Sagat, the next character set to join the fray will be C. Viper, expected to arrive sometime this Fall, followed by Alex in early Spring next year and Ingrid in late Spring.
