OMB Peezy Targeted in Shooting Outside North Carolina Club

OMB Peezy, a rising star in the rap scene, was reportedly the target of a shooting incident that occurred outside a nightclub in North Carolina over the weekend. According to a detailed report from CBS 17, the alarming shooting took place in the early hours of Sunday morning, specifically on April 13, outside the StarBar located in east Raleigh.
Witness accounts reveal that when the club's patrons were leaving around 4 a.m., a barrage of over 20 gunshots rang out, aimed at Peezy's sprinter van as he attempted to exit the parking lot. I would say about 4 a.m. is when we heard shots fired outside the club and everybody pretty much ran outside, a witness recounted. We couldnt really tell where the shots were coming from. In addition to Peezys vehicle, four other cars were struck by gunfire, and further damage occurred when Peezys driver hastily sped away, colliding with additional vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this chaotic incident.
The local police are currently treating the shooting as an aggravated assault and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the events leading up to this dangerous situation.
This recent shooting incident is not the first time OMB Peezy has found himself in legal trouble. Back in 2021, law enforcement officials arrived at Peezy's residence and informed him that he was under arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as well as possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. At the time, Peezy had just recently completed a seven-year probation period. The artist expressed confusion over the police presence at his home, stating, I was just trying to figure out what the fuck was going on, why the police at my door for. Because if I done did anything, I would have been gone. If I was guilty of anything, you wouldnt have caught me at my muthafuckin house, straight the fuck up.
Despite Peezys protests of innocence, he was taken into custody by the Atlanta police and U.S. Marshals, with his bond set at $60,000. As he was led away in handcuffs, Peezy repeatedly declared, Yall got the wrong one, baby.
This arrest followed a previous shooting incident on February 21 at a scrapyard in Atlanta, Georgia, where a music video shoot for Roddy Ricch and 42 Duggs single 4 Da Gang turned chaotic when gunfire erupted, injuring three men. Fortunately, Ricch and Dugg were unharmed. Speculation arose among fans regarding potential beef between Peezy, Ricch, and Dugg, but Peezy was quick to dismiss these rumors. I dont have no smoke with Roddy Ricch, he clarified in an interview with HipHopDX. I dont have no smoke with 42 Dugg. Nobody from CMG [Collective Music Group], no none of that. They love me over there in Roddy Ricch hood; I love them back too.
Peezy continued, But you know, the internet will try to run with it and try to make their own story and shit. But I dont have no problem with them people and they dont have no problem with me. Like real talk, it really isnt no beef; never was no beef. In a turn of events, he was acquitted of the charges related to the previous incident just over a year later, further emphasizing his claims of innocence.
