Coronation Street fans 'can't stop looking' at Jack P Shepherd after co-star 'outs' a 'peculiar' detail It came as the actor swapped the cobbles for the Big Brother house after marking 25 years in the ITV soap in the role of David Platt David Platt in Coronation Street (Image: ITV ) Coronation Street fans have said they 'can't stop looking' at Jack P Shepherd after his co-star pointed out a 'peculiar' detail amid his Celebrity Big Brother stint. The actor swapped the cobbles for the Big Brother house after marking 25 years in the ITV soap in the role of David Platt, having joined back in 2000 at just 12 years old. It was then earlier this month that, for the first time, Jack took a punt on reality TV and entered the ITV reality show's famous house as it returned for a second series since being rebooted by ITV. But he's not had the easiest of times so far as he was seen surviving being nominated for the second eviction of the reality series on Tuesday night (April 15) after surviving the first public vote last week. Jack found himself in the firing line once again by his fellow housemates as they chose him to face the second public vote alongside EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, who received the most nominations, and TV presenter Trisha Goddard. But Jack's Corrie co-stars are saying fans are seeing the real him and the soap star is gradually coming out of his shell. Among those discussing his time in the house are Colson Smith and Ben Price, who he stars in the soap with as well as co-hosting their own podcast, On the Sofa. And after previously speaking about what the 'P' stands for in the soap star's name, he soon became dubbed Jack 'Pirate' Shepherd. "It's obvious what the 'P' stands for isn't it?" Colson said on the podcast to which Ben replied: "Pirate," before they went on to discuss Jack's transformation. "He loves role play. He f*****g loves it. He loves dressing up," Colson then revealed. But back to Alison and Colson and Ben got their fellow Corrie star involved in the chat as she was heard discussing what she thinks the 'P' in Jack's name stands for before she showed her love and support. The Carla Connor actress was heard saying: "Hello Ben and Colson On the Sofa. You're amazing. I love the podcast, I listen to it all the time and so the 'P' in Jacky P Shepherd stands for 'peculiar pinkies'. "I know that's two words but it doesn't count because they are peculiar pinkies. On the left and on the right, his little fingers are very peculiar shaped and that's what it stands for." She rounded off by adding: "I love you Jacky P Shepherd, you absolute star. We love you." But since hearing Alison's comments, fans can't unsee Jack's little fingers. @saoirseweir said: "Canny stop looking at jacks peculiar pinkies thanks to Ali king #CBBUK." @oneslaststime replied: "WAIT is this edited."
