More info A teenager who tragically died in a farm accident in the UK has been named as 14-year-old Harry Moss. The youngster suffered fatal injuries during an accident involving farm machinery on a farm in Malvern, Worcestershire, last Thursday, which also resulted in another man being hospitalised. The large-scale emergency response at the Malvern site left Harry's mother devastated, as she paid tribute to her son in an emotional Facebook post. Holly McMurray called her son "forever loved" and shared how proud she was of him. Her emotional message read: "My boy forever loved. My first born. My world has fallen apart. Fly high my homing pigeon. Harry you did me so proud but boy you was 14 working too hard! Farmer forever. I love you so much." In an effort to support the family, a family friend named Maggie Murrihy has launched a GoFundMe campaign at Ms McMurray's request to help with the funeral expenses for Harry. In her own heartfelt words, she described Harry as "the most amazing" son and brother, who had a passion for farming and fishing. Her tribute said: "As many of you know, Harry tragically passed away at just 14 years old. He was truly an amazing young man with his whole life ahead of him — the eldest sibling, a devoted son, and a loving big brother. "Harry had a heart of gold and a passion for the simple things in life. If he wasn’t at home, he was out doing what he loved most — farming or fishing. He was our little homing pigeon, always coming back to where he was loved the most. "No parent should ever have to go through the pain of losing a child, and no words can ease that heartbreak. "While nothing can take away the grief, we’re hoping this fundraiser will help ease some of the financial strain. The funds raised will go toward giving Harry the beautiful send-off he deserves, and also to support his family as they take time to grieve and begin to heal." Hundreds have rallied in support of a heartbroken family, generously donating to their fundraiser which surpassed the initial target within hours. A staggering 390 individuals contributed and raised over £12,800 (€14,940), surpassing the family's target of £10,000 following the tragic accident, reports the Mirror. Emergency services from West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police were at the scene after the horrific incident on Thursday. A WMAS representative disclosed that two helicopter ambulances landed in Malvern where medical staff fought to save a critically injured teenager. Tragically, despite the frantic efforts of paramedics, the youngster was pronounced dead at the scene. The WMAS spokesperson issued a statement which read: "On arrival, crews found a teenage boy in a critical condition and immediately began administering advanced life support. Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene." The ambulance service also reported that another man, discovered seriously wounded at the site of the accident, was rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital; however, his injuries are not expected to be life-threatening or life-altering.
