The Manchester United legend went on to explain what he believes will be in head coach Arne Slot's thinking heading into the summer transfer window and beyond. “I would have thought so (they’re planning ahead with transfers)," Keane told Sky Sports. "Of course you’d be delighted with the way the season’s gone, champions with a few games to go, but you’d have to be critical of the squad and start looking where they can improve. ‌ "Great news for Liverpool with the players [Salah and Van Dijk] staying on, big players, big boost for everybody, but they’ll certainly looking at recruitment in the summer where they can get stronger. "We were talking earlier, they’ll want to be back in the mix for the Champions League quarters and semi-finals - that’s what Liverpool expect. "They key now for Liverpool is can they kick on and win the title again? That’s where you try and become a great team, win it three or four times like Man City have done. That’s all the challenges.
