The Reds won 1-0 on Easter Sunday to maintain their 13-point advantage over second-placed Arsenal. Trent Alexander-Arnold was named on the bench by Arne Slot for the clash at the King Power Stadium, before opening the scoring just five minutes after entering the game in the second half. The Liverpool vice-captain scored on his return from an ankle injury which had kept him on the sidelines since March 11 in the defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. The result means that Liverpool need just a maximum of three points to win the Premier League title with five matches left to play. It means that the Reds could win the title at home to Tottenham Hotspur next Sunday, while Arsenal will host Crystal Palace before then in midweek.
