'Beautiful' - Man United fans hijack Matheus Cunha's social media after five-word message Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha featured as Manchester United fell to a 1-0 defeat against the previously relegation-threatened side Matheus Cunha celebrates Pablo Sarabia's goal against Manchester United (Image: Getty Images ) Manchester United supporters have demanded Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha signs in the summer after his appearance against the Reds on Sunday. Cunha started in a no.10 role at Old Trafford as the visitors mirrored the Reds' formation. In a game with a lack of quality, the result was decided a little over ten minutes before half-time. ‌ Pablo Sarabia's free-kick ensured the West Midlands club walked away with the spoils and in doing so, coupled with Ipswich's defeat to Arsenal, secured their Premier League status for next season. Wolves also managed to complete the league double over the Reds and moved level on points with Ruben Amorim's side. At half-time, when the scores were level, Amorim had a moment with Cunha as the players headed down the tunnel. After the match, the Brazilian took to social media to celebrate the victory, posting: "What a beautiful day guys," accompanied with a picture of him celebrating with Sarabia. While the post will have no doubt delighted the Wolves supporters, it was United fans who flooded the comments section. Oliverhurny wrote: "Please join United bro," while Zochajestem_ added: "See you in [a] United shirt next season." It is understood the 25-year-old has a £62.5m release clause inserted into his contract at Molineux. United are expected to sign at least one striker in the summer transfer window with Amorim explaining post-match that the striker position is a big problem. "If you don't score goals you don't win games," he told BBC Radio 5 Live. ‌ "We need to score goals. There was a time we didn't score, but we didn't create. "We have a lot of chances to score, but we didn't score - that's the biggest problem for our team."
