In fact, the Stoke and Wyken police teams said that there has been an increase in call-outs to fly-tipping. The teams shared images of the latest mounds of rubbish left, including old beds and mattresses, tyres and even a chair left dumped on the street. Officers have urged locals to report any suspects to them. "Please let us know and give us details if you see it happening," the team posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. Residents can also use the 'Fix My Street' website to report problems such as fly-tipping to the city council.
