Featuring several types of butter tarts, butter tart bakers, hot sauce creators, a handmade artisan boutique and a few surprises, the annual Great Canadian Butter Tart Tour is making a stop in Fergus on July 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Centre Wellington Sportsplex. A cash-only event, general admission tickets are $5, while those 10 and under are free. Applications are available here for anyone interested in participating as a baker, hot sauce maker, food vendor or a part of the artisan boutique.
