Monday's episode of the popular property show was shortened to 30 minutes as Channel 4 aired a special news programme after the death of Pope Francis was announced earlier today. Laura Hamilton was today's host as she was helping Mo and Anthony find their dream property in Torremolinos. The couple were armed with a maximum budget of £150,000 and wanted a home with two bedrooms and an outdoor terrace with a sea view. The search got off to a slow start as the buyers were unimpressed with the first two homes on the search. However, it was third time lucky as they fell in love with property number three in La Colina. The home was priced at just £115,500 and included a communal swimming pool. Anthony was amazed with the find as he said: "Wow. I am very impressed." Mo added: "We're speechless. This is taking our breath away." The two ruled the property as a definite contender as their dream holiday home in the sun started to look like it could be more of a reality. Article continues below Laura aimed to emulate the success with her last two homes on the search. However, she was unable to find a property the two loved as much as property three. She was convinced the final home on the search would be enough to win them over as she said: "I really think the boys will like this apartment because of its two balconies. I reckon Anthony will totally adore the views." However, they were unimpressed with the layout of the home. The buyers were particularly confused by the placement of the bathroom as you had to walk through the bedroom to reach the toilet facilities. Mo said: "So the bathroom is through the bedroom?" Laura responded: "Let me explain. Remember, this was a hotel. Obviously, to make this a one bedroom apartment, they've knocked the two rooms together." Laura explained the kitchen would have previously been a bathroom when the apartment was a hotel. Anthony responded: "We get that, but it's just something that's a bit awkward for us to kind of take in as a one-bedroom flat. "We get the rationale behind it. We're just not sure if we like it." Laura accepted she may not have been able to convince the buyers on the final property. She said: "I've done everything I can. I wonder, after they've seen that sea view. Will it better property three, I'm not sure. I was hoping to finish this house-hunt with a bang with this apartment, which is on the market for just over £135,000. "But, given Anthony and Mo's comments, it looks like it might be less of a happy ending as I'm not very confident this place is going to be a contender." Fortunately, Anthony and Mo didn't need another option as their heart was set on property three. After taking a night to sleep on it, they placed an offer of £111,000.
