"Heavy rain in Northern Ireland in the afternoon and isolated showers will develop across Britain, mainly in eastern areas." It adds of Wednesday (April 23): "Tonight, Scotland and northern England will be dry with clear spells and variable cloud. "The rain in Northern will move south-eastwards across central and southern England and Wales. "Tomorrow will see rain in the southeast early ease to leave it drier with variable clouds. Elsewhere, there will be sunny spells, variable cloud and isolated showers." Article continues below The outlook for Thursday to Saturday adds: "Thursday will see low cloud and mist in the morning. Remaining cloudy for much of the day with light showers for all." The BBC team goes on to state: "But sunny spells will develop towards the evening." Looking ahead to the weekend, it goes on to say: "On Friday, largely dry with variable cloud and sunny spells, but rain for the far west later. "On Saturday, western areas will see rain become patchy and light. Eastern areas will be dry with variable clouds."
