Witkoff expected in Moscow this week, Putin aide says Donald Trump's peace envoy Steve Witkoff is expected in Moscow for talks later this week, a senior aide to Vladimir Putin has said. Yuri Ushakov is quoted by Russian news agency Interfax as saying Witkoff is set for a fourth trip to Russia since Trump returned to office. Witkoff has previously held three long meetings with Putin on prospects for an end to the war in Ukraine.
