Temiskaming OPP have laid several criminal charges against a man following two separate incidents that occurred over the course of a weekend in Cobalt Listen to this article On Sunday, April 20, at 4:15 p.m., Temiskaming OPP were on patrol in Cobalt when they arrested someone in relation to an ongoing investigation. A 41-year-old, of no fixed address, was charged with: Break, enter dwelling house - commit indictable offence - three counts Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000. Then on Monday at 12:15 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on Prospect Avenue in Cobalt. Police arrested and charged the same person with: Spousal assault - two counts Causing a disturbance Failing to comply with probation order Police did not release a name. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury, at a later date.
