A total of over a dozen alterations are lined up, with the majority set to occur on April 22, extending into the weekend. The adjustments include the discontinuation of POP Max across all Sky platforms, following its removal from Freeview last year. A spokesperson clarified the reasons for the change: "Narrative Entertainment is closing the POP Max channel, so it will no longer be available to view, including on Sky's TV platforms - Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q," they said Despite this, other POP-branded channels will continue to be broadcast, albeit with some shifts in their position due to other closures. On the satellite service, Tiny POP will climb from 618 to 615, while Tiny POP+1 will ascend from 629 to 619, and POP+1 will take the 618 spot, reports the Express. In addition, channels are reverting to their pre-Easter programming. Notably, Sky The Hobbit, situated on channel 303, will transition back to Sky Hits post-Easter weekend. Moreover, Sky Family (Satellite 306/850 - Sky Glass/Stream 306) is slated for transformation into The Hobbit / The Hobbit HD starting Friday, April 25. Sky's Harry Potter channel will revert to its original name, Sky Family, from its current position as channel 306. Additionally, Sky has announced a temporary rebranding of Sky Adventure to Apocalyptic HD. These changes were due take effect on Tuesday, April 22. On the same day, Sky Sci-Fi and Horror (Satellite 311 - Sky Glass/Stream 311) will temporarily transform into Sky Horror HD. Fast forward to Saturday, April 26th, Sky Hits (Satellite 303 - Sky Glass/Stream 303) will be temporarily renamed as SkyIndianaJones/IndianaJonesHD. Sky regularly updates its TV guide monthly, so viewers can expect more changes in the pipeline. As the company typically only reveals its TV channel plans for the upcoming week, there could be additional changes towards the end of the month that have yet to be disclosed.
