United are 14th in the Premier League table following Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Wolves and they are on course for their worst ever finish in the Premier League era. ‌ As such, planning is already well under way ahead of the summer transfer window and the Manchester Evening News reported this morning that United are keen to strengthen their attack by signing Ipswich forward Liam Delap and Wolves star Matheus Cunha. United plan to fund those moves with the sales of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony, all of whom are currently on loan away from the club. And their transfer kitty could also be boosted by winning this season's Europa League, which would seal qualification into next season's Champions League and the added riches that would bring. Article continues below Ruben Amorim's first season in charge at United could still end with some silverware after United booked their ticket into the semi-finals of the competition thanks to a dramatic win over Lyon in the quarter-finals. Having been 4-2 down in the second half of extra-time, three goals in the final six minutes saw United progress and sparked wild scenes at Old Trafford.
