Rich is perhaps most recognised for her portrayal of Jane Spring in Netflix's Heartstopper, where she plays the mother of Joe Locke's main character, Charlie Spring. ‌ Her acting credits also include Wars of the Worlds, Criminal Record, Industry and Queens of Mystery. Newcomer Iona Anderson takes on the role of Meg's daughter Laura Magellan, having previously appeared in Six Four and The Long Call.
