A 37-year-old woman was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking A Guelph woman faces drug charges after she was arrested downtown Friday evening. Just after 6 p.m. officers were patrolling in the area of Quebec Street when they observed a woman holding a glass pipe with visible drug residue. She was arrested and a search revealed a total of six contaminated pipes, as well as a quantity of suspected cocaine, a scale and two cellphones. A 37-year-old woman is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a controlled substance and breaching a probation order. She was held for a bail hearing and has been released to appear in court.
