Coronation Street spoilers as Jenny's upset, Mick's arrested, Kit's blast from the past and legend honoured Dee-Dee faces a tough decision and Todd's also targeted in the ITV soap next week Mick Michaelis in Coronation Street (Image: ITV ) The drama and the heartbreak is set to continue in Coronation Street next week, starting with Jenny Connor, who has not only had to say goodbye to Daisy Midgeley but also the Rovers Return. As a new week gets underway, Rita Tanner orders Jenny to stop wallowing in self pity and look to the future while she’s still got her health. ‌ Later, in the Rovers, Ryan Connor tentatively explains to Jenny that she’s no longer his boss and he takes his orders from Carla Connor now, leaving Jenns upset. ‌ Meanwhile, Glenda Shuttleworth shows some prospective buyers around the pub and attempts to put them off. But Ryan eyes her suspiciously. Elsewhere, Todd Grimshaw tells Eileen Grimshaw and Julie Carp he's had a call from Danielle as Theo Silverton has gone missing. Soon, as a drunken Theo staggers down the street, Mick Michaelis picks an argument with him and shoves him up against the wall. Billy Mayhew watches, horrified. Ronnie hauls Mick away from Theo and sends him packing, while Theo breaks down to a concerned Billy. Later, when Theo’s daughter, Millie, calls at the undertakers demanding some answers from her dad, Todd looks uneasy. Article continues below While in the funeral parlour, Todd hears the car alarm on the hearse and goes to investigate, finding it covered in paint. Todd's shocked to discover it was Millie who vandalised the hearse and as she rails at him for ripping her family apart, Theo leaps to Millie’s defence. Todd finds the hearse vandalised (Image: ITV ) Meanwhile, Julie videos herself on her phone, talking about the importance of love. George Shuttleworth plans a romantic evening to show Eileen how much he cares, but Eileen’s furious and reminds him that he was supposed to be taking her and Julie for a day out at the lake. ‌ Having got a cab, Eileen and Julie take in the view, and Julie admits there’s nowhere she’d rather be. Meanwhile, at No.11, George stumbles across a video where Julie advises Eileen to call time on her relationship with George. At Julie’s request, Eileen heads to the refreshment van but Eileen returns to find Julie lying on her back with her eyes closed. In a panic, Eileen feels for a pulse. Later, an upset Eileen mulls over Julie’s death, George worries about Julie’s final message to Eileen and the future of their relationship which only annoys Eileen further. ‌ Eileen finds Julie dead (Image: ITV ) Also on the Street, when Dee-Dee Bailey admits to Eileen that she’s nervous of becoming too attached to Laila, Eileen advises her to follow her heart. Later, Ronnie Bailey spots Dee-Dee cooing over Laila and is touched by the sight. Dee-Dee soon admits to Alya Nazir that she’s started to bond with Laila and her friend urges her to rethink her plans and assures her that her brother, James, will forgive her in time. ‌ Dee-Dee tells Michael Bailey that she’s planning to return to work as she’s feeling much better. But when she finds Roy Cropper in the cafe with a candlelit cake in honour of his late wife Hayley's birthday, Dee-Dee becomes emotional. Also next week, Lauren Bolton tells Bobby Crawford that she hasn’t received any more threatening texts, but she worries the blackmailer is simply biding their time. Bobby offers to help Lauren look at flats but she assures him she’s fine on her own. Floored by the prices of rent, Lauren reveals she needs to get a job fast and Aadi Alahan offers to put in a good word at Freshco. ‌ But when she then receives another text from the blackmailer demanding £200 or they’ll report her to the police, Lauren despairs. Showing Betsy Swain the text, Lauren suspects Bobby is her blackmailer and it’s his way of trying to get closer to her. Betsy helps Lauren set a trap (Image: ITV ) Lauren resolves to call his bluff. Having planted some fake cash, Lauren and Betsy wait. Will Bobby reveal himself? Article continues below And, DS Lisa Swain tells Kit Green that they’ve hauled in Mick on suspicion of an assault and she’d like him to conduct the interview and Kit masks his unease. As Kit enters the interview room he’s clearly nervous and Mick’s amused. Kit fails to question Mick in detail and says he’s free to go. Outside, Mick corners Kit and tells him they need to have a chat. What has he got on Kit? Later, Liam Connor and Jake Windass join Gary Windass and Mick for a day’s work at the builder’s yard. When Mick plays a prank on Liam, covering him in cement, Liam laughs along, determined to be one of the lads.
