A pedestrian has been killed in the second fatal accident on a major road in less than 24 hours. A woman, who has yet to be identified, died at the scene in Blakehurst, in Sydney’s south after being hit by a car on King Georges Road. Police were called to the scene shortly before 7pm on Tuesday. The driver, a 28-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing. The tragedy came after two young men were killed in Wiley Park on Monday night when the BMW they were travelling in collided with a truck on the same road. Credit: / The force of the crash was so extreme it appeared to meld the two vehicles together, with nearby residents saying they were shocked by the impact. The dead men have been identified as 23-year-old Joey Tofan and 22-year-old Khalil Hamoud. Hamoud’s younger brother, Yousef (20), was driving and remains in a critical condition.
