Emergency services crews have responded to a 'police incident' tonight (Tuesday, April 29). A number of police vehicles, ambulances and a fire engine were parked outside Perry Barr train station, off Birchfield Road and Walsall Road. "Major incident at Perry Barr Station," they said. "Not sure what happened. Just got taken off the train." The nature of the incident is not yet known. Transport for West Midlands said the incident was causing "major disruption." It posted on X: "Police incident at Perry Barr Rail Station. "Trains serving Perry Barr may experience delays and cancellations. "Check with your rail operator for alternative travel arrangements."
