Heirs Pears no longer has a cafe, but the local business isn't totally gone Heirs Pears in downtown Vancouver closed its brick-and-mortar café space earlier this year. 1 / 1 Heirs Pears in downtown Vancouver closed its brick-and-mortar café space earlier this year. Advertisement After almost seven years on the corner of Nelson and Seymour, a gluten-free cafe has shuttered, though the business appears to live on. Heir Pears opened in 2018, offering a variety of health-conscious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with coffees and juices. Menu items included breakfast sandwiches and brunch options with gluten-free breads, keto-friendly meals, and vegan options. The cafe at 605 Nelson St. permanently closed earlier this year, but that doesn't appear to be the end of Heirs Pears. The business's website appears to still be active and directs customers to order via delivery apps like Uber Eats and DoorDash. Catering services are also offered. An address on Powell Street is referenced on Uber Eats, where another catering business is based, along with other food businesses. There was also a job opening for the business posted earlier in April. Vancouver Is Awesome has reached out to Heirs Pears for more information but has not yet received a response.
