Gun violence has gripped a regional town where alleged domestic violence led to two separate arrests on Wednesday. Two men will face court on Thursday over separate incidents that occurred just streets away from each other in Parkes, about an hour-and-a-half south of Dubbo in NSW. A collection of weapons were seized from a home, where a number of serious domestic violence incidents allegedly occurred, on Glenwarrie Pl about 1.40pm on Wednesday, NSW Police said. Know the news with the 7NEWS app: Download today The alleged domestic violence incidents involved guns, 7NEWS.com.au understands. “Police searched the house and located multiple weapons, including several firearms. All weapons were seized by police,” police said. Two air rifles and a replica firearm were allegedly seized. A 28-year-old man, Trey Spicer, was arrested at the home and taken to Parkes Police Station. He was charged with 12 offences, including fire firearm in or near public place, and manufacture prohibited weapon without a permit. He was refused bail and is set to appear at Cowra Local Court on Thursday. The arrest comes as another 28-year-old man allegedly attempted to discharge a firearm towards a 20-year-old woman known to him, just several streets away. The incident occurred during an alleged assault on the woman in a unit on Victoria St about 10.10pm on Tuesday. The man had left the scene by the time police arrived, and the woman was then taken to Parkes Hospital for treatment. Sam Clarke, 28, presented at the Parkes Police Station about 12.20pm the next day, where he was arrested and charged. He was charged with six offences relating to domestic violence and gun use, and was refused bail. He is also set to appear before Cowra Local Court on Thursday.
