Labour clings on to Doncaster mayoralty The next in a flurry of mayoral results comes from Doncaster. Labour's Ros Jones barely clung on here - with 23,805 votes, while Reform UK's Alexander Jones had 23,107. This is a slim majority of 698. The Conservatives followed in third, with the Greens in fourth. Jones joined Sky News shortly after her re-election - the start of her fourth term as mayor of Doncaster. She said: "I'm humbled and delighted that the people and the businesses of Doncaster have shown that they really do trust me to drive our economy forward. "We are on the crest of going forward with jobs and growth."
