The man was hospitalised and remains in a “critical condition at this time”. Police are appealing to any witnesses for information. Inspector Jack said: “A report was received shortly before 3:00pm on Friday afternoon, 2nd May that a motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a van in the Legavallon Road area. “Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Air Ambulance. “One man was taken to hospital for treatment. He remains in a critical condition at this time. “We would ask anyone who was travelling in the area to review dash-cam footage or any other relevant footage they may have captured and call us on 101 with any information. Members of the PSNI received a report of the incident, which involved a silver coloured KIA car and a motorcycle, at around 8:25pm. A 23-year-old man was arrested on various motoring offences and remains in custody at this time. Sergeant Laverty said: “At around 8:25pm, it was reported that a silver coloured KIA car and a motorcycle were involved in the collision. "The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are described as potentially life changing. “A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit, driving while disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance.”
