The final day of the League One season has arrived and there will be contrasting emotions at The Abbey Stadium. Birmingham City will play their final game in the third tier after winning promotion back to the Championship with a record-breaking season. Blues moved onto 108 points with a victory at Blackpool on Wednesday to break Reading’s EFL points record. Cambridge United, meanwhile, have been relegated to League Two after a dismal season which started under ex-Blues manager Garry Monk. Blues walloped Cambridge 4-0 when the two sides met at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park back in February and can complete their 13th league double this season with a win at The Abbey.
