Wolters Kluwer and Malaga City Council Join Forces to Enhance Vocational Training
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Espaa has entered into a collaborative agreement with the Malaga City Council in Spain, aiming to significantly boost technological training for vocational students. This partnership reflects a growing recognition of the need to equip students with the skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital business environment.
The initiative is designed to enhance the professional competencies and employability of students, addressing the skills gap that many industries face today. Under the agreement, a total of 17 vocational training centers across Malaga will integrate Wolters Kluwer's advanced administrative and financial tools into their existing administration and finance curricula. This strategic move will provide students with the opportunity to develop practical skills in essential areas such as taxation, accounting, labor regulations, and invoicing through the use of cutting-edge technology.
Toms Font, the Vice President and General Manager for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting in the Europe Region South, expressed the company's commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where it operates. He stated, As a global provider of technology tools tailored to business needs, we want to make a difference in the communities in which we operate. Training teachers in the knowledge of Wolters Kluwer's solutions will enable them to enhance their students' professional skills, thereby facilitating their transition into the workforce and contributing to economic and business development.
Furthermore, this collaboration will feature Wolters Kluwer's Premium Partner, a3Satel, which will introduce the innovative a3innuva online suite. This suite includes various applications such as a3innuva Accounting, a3innuva Payroll, and a3innuva ERP, all designed to foster a more thorough understanding of modern accounting practices among students.
Mara Paz Flores, the City Councilor Delegate for Education and Employment Promotion, commented on the significance of this agreement, stating, This collaboration with Wolters Kluwer allows vocational training students to acquire key digital skills in an increasingly technology-oriented environment, thus improving their job opportunities and their adaptation to the needs of the market. Her remarks underline the critical role that digital literacy plays in todays job market.
In addition to this local initiative, Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting is set to release the Future Ready Accountant study in January 2025.
