Her impressive performance during her round on the ITV quiz left her teammates optimistic about winning a significant amount for their chosen charities. ‌ Article continues below Shaun Wallace, known as The Dark Destroyer, was the Chaser tasked with outwitting the four celebrities featured. When it was time for Sarah to receive her offers from Shaun, he surprised her with a modest £3,000 for the lower offer and an astonishing £103,000 for the higher one. Shaun announced to the contestant: "This is the highest offer I've ever made on the Celebrity Chase." ‌ Sarah was visibly shocked by the news, exclaiming: "No!" and bursting into laughter upon hearing the staggering amount she could play for, reports the Express. Despite Sarah's strong showing, she ultimately couldn't outpace the Chaser and returned to her team without the money. The celebrity team, which included Ortis Deley, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Graeme Hall, and Sarah Millican, managed to accumulate £100,000 for the final prize pot. However, they faced defeat in the last round, losing all the money after being given two minutes to answer as many general knowledge questions as possible. ‌ Despite piling up cash earlier, contestants Sarah and Ortis were quickly bested by The Dark Destroyer Shaun in a crucial round of The Chase. If Shaun managed to outscore them, they would lose all the money they had previously gathered. And that's exactly what happened, as Shaun's vast knowledge proved too much for the duo. But since this was a celebrity special with proceeds going to charity, host Bradley Walsh announced that nobody would be leaving empty-handed. ‌ Each player received £1,000 to pass on to their selected charities. Earlier, after her initial face-off against the Chaser, Shaun couldn't resist a gentle dig at contestant Sarah, who had been light-heartedly bantering throughout the show. With a broad smile, he told her: "You're a very funny lady. But I do the jokes around here." Article continues below Quick-witted as ever, Sarah hit back with: "Sometimes. Not always."
