Article continues below Outside of The Glass Blower, Mitchell is the landlord at the Hare & Hounds Inn in Stourbridge. On social media, The Glass Blower provided a fresh update this week and addressed why the bar has yet to open. The Glass Blower posted: "Morning you beautiful lot. I just wanted to address a few things as we've recently received a few messages. ‌ "We are working extremely hard to get The Glass Blower open as soon as possible, but like any major project, you come across obstacles along the way. "We've encountered quite a few as you can appreciate with a extremely old building. "The main focus as of late has been to get the upstairs ready for some additional rental income and that is now nearly finished. Article continues below "With walls coming down in the bar, we've obviously had to go through the right channels as we don't want any issues once open. "My motto, get it right the first time. "But to set the record straight, we're still here and we're working hard. No date set in stone yet unfortunately."
