It comes after cops in Northern Ireland made an appeal to search for a missing Mayo man FIND HIM Family ‘concerned for well-being’ of man, 33, who went missing from Kilkenny home in the early hours as appeal made GARDAI are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a missing man - as his family are “concerned for his wellbeing”. Milandzi Sathekge, 33, was reported missing from his home in Dunamaggin, Co Kilkenny in the early hours of Saturday. Milandzi was last seen at approximately 5am in Dunamaggin on April 19. He is described as being approximately 5 foot 8 inches in height with a slim build. Milandzi has black hair and brown eyes. It is not known what Milandzi was wearing when last seen. Gardai are appealing for the public's assistance in locating Milandzi. A spokesperson said: "Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Milandzi Sathekge (33) who was reported missing from his home in Dunamaggin, Co. Kilkenny on Saturday, 19th April 2025. "Milandzi was last seen in Dunamaggin on 19th April 2025 at approximately 5am. "Milandzi is described as being approximately 5 foot 8 inches in height, of slim build with black hair and brown eyes." They continued: "It is not known what Milandzi was wearing when last seen. "Gardaí and Milandzi’s family are concerned for his well-being. BACKPACK APPEAL It comes after cops in Northern Ireland issued an appeal around a blue backpack in their search for missing Mayo man George Brennan. The 38-year-old was last seen on Wednesday, April 2 in Ballycastle, Co Antrim, and his friends and family have not heard from him since. The Police Service of Northern Ireland is assisting An Garda Siochana in their search for Mr Brennan. While he is missing from Co Mayo in the Republic of Ireland, it is believed he may have links to the Causeway Coast and Glens area, and the mid and east Antrim area. On Saturday, the PSNI made a specific appeal in relation to the location of a blue-coloured backpack which Mr Brennan was seen carrying. 'GET IN TOUCH' They said: “We would ask that anyone who believes they may have seen this backpack, or who has information as to its whereabouts, get in touch. “The number to call is 101, quoting reference number 831 12/04/25.” Mr Brennan is described as being 6 foot 2 inches in height and 100kg, with brown hair and blue eyes. He had previously been seen on CCTV in the Spar shop in Moyle Road in Ballycastle on April 2. At that time, he was wearing a black zip-up top, dark jeans, runners and was carrying a blue hiking backpack. Another sighting of him, reported to the PSNI, said he was seen with a backpack hitch-hiking at the Lisnakilly roundabout outside Limavady at around 4.45pm on Monday, April 14.
