During the highly anticipated Star Wars Celebration held in Japan, Ubisoft made a thrilling announcement that has delighted fans of the franchise. The popular video game, Star Wars Outlaws, is set to receive an exciting new expansion titled A Pirate's Fortune. This expansion promises to delve deeper into the rich and immersive universe of the game, introducing players to a fresh narrative filled with adventurous missions centered around the quest for lost treasures amidst the backdrop of a galaxy rife with peril.

The expansion will challenge players to navigate through treacherous encounters with the Empire, as well as rival pirates and bounty hunters who are equally eager to claim the hidden treasures for themselves. Unlike some previous updates, this will be additional content available as downloadable content (DLC). Players will need to either purchase a Season Pass or buy the expansion separately at the price of $15 to access all the new features and missions.

For those who opt not to purchase the expansion, there's good news: a free title update will also be released on the same date, which includes several enhancements and additions to the base game. Ubisoft has yet to confirm an exact release date for the expansion, but it is slated to launch sometime in September for the Nintendo Switch 2. Players eager for a sneak peek can enjoy the latest trailer, revealing exciting glimpses of what to expect from A Pirate's Fortune, which is set to arrive on May 15.

In this thrilling new adventure, players will join the beloved characters Kay Vess and Nix, teaming up with the infamous Hondo Ohnaka. Together, they will face formidable foes, including Stinger Tash and her Rokana Raiders, as they infiltrate the mysterious Khepi Tomb. Inside, they will uncover age-old secrets and hidden treasures, which promise to enhance the player's journey through the galaxy.

Additionally, the story will introduce the Miyuki Trade League, a faction that offers new rewards for players as they engage in smuggling dangerous goods across the galaxy. However, players must first complete the main storyline from the base game to unlock the expansion's narrative.

As part of the title update that coincides with the launch of A Pirate's Fortune, all players will receive unique cosmetic items inspired by the upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. These exciting new designs will be available for Nix and the speeder, appearing in the player's delivery crate on the Trailblazer following the installation of the update.
