Mariah Carey’s Twins, 13, Don’t Look Thrilled to go Easter Egg Hunting with the Superstar

Mariah Carey joked that her teens Moroccan and Monroe Cannon weren't too excited to celebrate Easter with her. On Monday, April 21, the singer uploaded a series of photos in an Instagram carousel to celebrate Easter. But the mom of 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon, quipped that they weren’t too thrilled by her celebrations. “The greatest gift of being a mom is getting your teenage kids to participate in your Easter hijinks! 🐰🐣💐,” she joked in the caption. The singer, 56, added one photo of the twins holding their Easter baskets beside the Easter bunny and Carey. As the two teens reluctantly posed next to each other, Carey smiled widely for the camera and held up her hot pink basket. The mom of two also added a second photo of the twins, opening up their Easter baskets and looking through all the gifts and goodies they received. Carey included other photos of herself and the Easter bunny. The bunny joined Carey in peering out of her front door in a couple of them. There were also images of her greeting the bunny in her driveway. The “Always Be My Baby” singer also snapped one solo photo, showing off her bedazzled pink skirt set, hot pink fluffy shoes, matching Easter basket and her bright pink Gucci chaise lounge rectangular sunglasses. The recent reluctance from the twins follows Carey’s surprise drop-in during Moroccan’s Twitch live stream on Thursday, April 3. He was about 10 minutes into playing video games with friends when his mom and Monroe strolled into the room. In the video, Moroccan can be heard talking to the two off-camera before he cuts the audio and then comes back on to tell his audience: "Sorry chat, my mom is here." Moroccan’s fellow streamers then chimed in to greet the superstar, “Hey, Mrs. Carey!” Monroe then walked into frame holding a dog. “You wanna come here, mom?” he asked the “Fantasy” singer, who popped her head into view, standing over his shoulder. "Okay, y'all need to get out now. Just, everybody get out," Moroccan told his mother and sister, seemingly embarrassed. "Mom, they can see you. They're saying, 'Hi Mariah, I love you!' Oh my God." "Hi, you guys!" Carey told the audience. "I love you, too." "Can y'all please get out, please? Love you. Get out of my room,” he said after regretting inviting them in.
