The new character has been ruffling feathers since his and his wife Lou's arrival back in February. The new couple were previously revealed as part of a new family set to shake things up for the other residents on the Street. ‌ Mick, played by Joe Layton, and Lou, played by Farrel Hegarty, were described as 'nightmare neighbours' who were willing to make life hell for anyone who dares to cross them. Corrie fans saw Mick and Lou moving into Mawdsley Street at the back of Chesney and Gemma Winter-Brown's house, which is the first time ever Corrie have extended the serial drama across the ginnel in a history-making move for the popular show. Soon into his debut, it was revealed Mick has been harassing Chesney and now, he's threatened Gemma over his attack on Sean Tully, who got his son Brody into trouble in prison, as he warned her to tell her not to say anything about where he was at the time of the beating. Article continues below During Monday night's (April 21) Corrie, Gemma was seen still trying to please Mick and Lou and later, when Sean heard about the their dinner plans, he’s furious with Gemma for 'siding with the enemy'. But it was during the episode that viewers became distracted as Mick and Lou were seen being able to freely find themselves in Gemma and Chesney's family home.
