It's time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Boys Prep Athlete of the Week for April 13-19. This week's poll features three players — two baseball and one lacrosse. Voting will be open until 11:59 a.m. Thursday. We'll announce the winner here shortly after the poll closes. Here are this week's nominees (listed in alphabetical order by last name): Luke DeMasse, baseball, Dakota: The Cougars played five games against Romeo and Howell. The senior pitcher and third baseman had a batting average of 33% on four hits, including one home run and three RBI. Thor Ham, lacrosse, Ann Arbor Skyline: Despite the team losing both its games the week of April 13, the sophomore goalie had a career performance in his second game of the week. Ham had 25 saves in the matchup against Strongsville of Ohio, ending the night with a score of 7-8. Evan Nowc, baseball, Allen Park Cabrini: The Monarchs played one game against Lutheran Westland.
