State witness in the Joshlin Smith’s disappearance case, Colonel Riaan Morris, will take to the witness stand when the trial resumes today in the High Court sitting in Saldanha Bay on the West Coast. Jacquen Appollis, Steveno Van Rhyn and the little girl’s mother, Kelly Smith, stand accused of kidnapping and trafficking the six-year-old Joshlin in February last year. Yesterday, Kelly Smith’s lawyer told the court that his client was continuously grilled with the same questions, which made her frustrated and angry. Defence counsel Rinesh Sivnarain said the questions to his client gave no progress in finding Joshlin.
