Promising both tight tactical gameplay in a familiar extraction shooter mode, it also sells itself on the promise of even grander 24v24 battles on the air, sea and land. At launch, Delta Force for mobile also includes the newest season, Eclipse Vigil, which introduces a new night and dusk-themed map for Operations and Warfare mode, as well as new night-vision goggles. The newest operator, Nox, also offers equally subversive abilities for players interested in using strategy and subterfuge on the field. Little surprise then that hype has been building so much for Delta Force's release, with Garena reporting over 25 million pre-registrations ahead of launch. No doubt helped by promises of no pay-to-win, an in-game marketplace for buying and selling gear, cross-progression and more core features. The newest season arriving with Delta Force mobile isn't just about the new maps and major additions. Garena are also introducing a suite of other features, such as the long-requested Kill Cam, a staple of first-person shooters. Sound design has also had an overhaul, making it crucial for low-light maps such as the newly introduced Blackout and Trench Lines. There are also new weapons, gadgets and cars being added alongside a new event 'Critical Point' which sees the Threshold map shift under certain circumstances. It seems that the massive multiplayer battles aren't the only thing Battlefield fans can enjoy a familiar taste of in Delta Force.
