Police said the arrest came as a result of a "rapid response" from officers who had been in Sandwell this morning. A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: " We've arrested a man on suspicion of burglary following a rapid response from officers in Sandwell this morning (23 April). ‌ "We were alerted to a break-in at an address on Hallam Street, West Bromwich, at just after 2.25am. "Officers were quickly on the scene and a suspect was arrested within around 10 minutes of the initial call. "A 39-year-old man is now in custody on suspicion of burglary."
