More info Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has shed light on a particular aspect of her relationship with Les Dennis, confessing "I loved that". In her memoir, No Holding Back, the television star reminisces about her years married to the well-known former Coronation Street actor. Offering fans a rare insight into their life together, she revealed that Les used to refer to her as his "teacher". The 54-year-old shared how his sweet words provided comfort during the early stages of their relationship, saying: "He said we were each other's teachers, and I loved that. "I still do. Listening to his advice made me want the security of a relationship again and he made me feel safe." After marrying just two years after their initial meeting, Amanda also spoke of feeling somewhat insecure in the early days of their relationship, given Les' more established celebrity status due to his appearances on shows like Family Fortunes. However, despite expressing her fondness for the actor, their relationship was not destined to last. Their marriage began to be marred by rumours, and later confirmed instances, of infidelity. Amanda's marriage ended in 2003 following her publicised affair with Waterloo Road's Neil Morrisey, which came to light three years prior. However, since parting ways with the former Coronation Street actor over two decades ago, Amanda found love once more and tied the knot with her current husband, Chris Hughes. The couple share two children, Alexa 'Lexi' Louise Florence and Hollie Rose. Beyond her personal life, Amanda has become a familiar face on television due to her numerous appearances. Her initial venture into broadcasting was as a contestant on Blind Date. While she has taken on several acting roles, she is most often seen co-hosting some of the country's favourite morning TV shows, making guest appearances on programmes like Lorraine and This Morning. More recently, since her debut on the ITV show in 2007, she is best known for being one fifth of the Britain's Got Talent judging panel, alongside Simon Cowell, Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon and guest judge, KSI. In other news, Amanda is set to collaborate with relationship coach, Paul Brunson on a new Netflix series, Cheat: Unfinished Business, which is set to be released on the streaming platform next week. The programme will follow eight former couples, whose relationships ended due to cheating, as they spend time together in a beautiful villa in Mallorca.
