LIVE Otley Run updates as 'three people attacked' and major incident declared in Leeds

Emergency services are on the scene following an incident in the Headingley area of Leeds today (April 25). A major incident has been declared by West Yorkshire Police after three people were reportedly injured by a 'man with weapons'. Officers attended shortly before 3pm, close to where the student event 'The Otley Run' takes place. At this time the injuries are not being treated as life threatening. A number of police scenes remain in place. According to eyewitnesses, a man was seen 'with a crossbow'. These reports have not been confirmed by West Yorkshire Police. The incident took place further up the road from Woodies Pub. but not at the pub itself. A spokesperson for Woodies Pub said: "The road has been closed off from the crossroads to St Chad's Drive." "The road is also off limits for pedestrians, and they are having to walk through Becketts Park". They are receiving information via Headingley Pub Watch and through security teams.
