Sunday The fillies take centre stage at Newmarket on Sunday in the 1,000 Guineas (3.35), in which well-fancied contenders from two of the sport's biggest powerhouses go head to head. Desert Flower, for Godolphin, has been all the rage following an impressive gallop and takes on Lake Victoria, a three-time Group 1 winner for Aidan O'Brien and Coolmore.
