The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, was crowned champion of the reality show last week after making it to the final of the 2025 series having survived two early evictions. Jack was announced by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best as the CBB 2025 champ after seeing off competition from drag artist Danny Beard, TV star Chris Hughes, social media personality JoJo Siwa, comedian Donna Preston and singer Chesney Hawkes. Come on. I've only known them three weeks. I've got a guest list a mile long." He added, jokingly, about Chris: "Chris keeps asking for an invite don't he? I'm like 'I don't think you will pal'. I haven't even told him the date." The soap star, who announced his engagement in June 2024, also spoke about his win as he said: "I didn’t think I’d get to anywhere near the final, I thought I’d be out week one." Jack and Hanni will tie the knot in July (Image: ITV ) Jack was put up for the series' first eviction alongside former Tory MP Sir Michael Fabricant and Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke. Sir Michael was voted out while Jack and Mickey remained, with the Sin City actor later being kicked out of the show for "inappropriate language" and "instances of unacceptable behaviour". Jack said: "He (Rourke) kind of isolated himself from the entire group. He’d sleep all day. (He’d say) ‘Oh no, I’m only here for like, four days’. We were like, 'No, it’s like a three-week gig.' He went: 'No, no, no, no, I’m not doing that!'" Jack is thought to have first met Hanni through work, as she was a storyline on Coronation Street from 2018 until 2020. She also used to work as the programme's researcher. They initially knew of each other and would say hello, but nothing developed between them until they attended a mutual friend’s wedding, the couple have said previously. At the end of the trip, Hanni took to social media to reveal that Jack had popped the question and that she agreed to marry him. It was then in October that Jack and Hanni revealed that they'd set a date for their special day. He shared a look at their gorgeous 'save the dates' that will be sent out to their nearest and dearest. "26th July 2025 we become Mr & Mrs Shepherd!!" Hanni wrote alongside the post which Jack also posted to his Instagram Story.
