Ruben Amorim's men are looking to book a return to Bilbao for the competition's final at the end of the month. United have already knocked out Real Sociedad and Lyon but now come up against one of their toughest tests yet. ‌ Bilbao have been one of the Europa League's early favourites with Nico Williams impressing during a fine individual season. After seeing off AS Roma and Rangers, Ernesto Valverde's men are looking to enjoy European success themselves. ‌ Much has been made of United's need to win the Europa League to qualify for next season's Champions League. Should they beat Bilbao, they will face either Tottenham or Bodo/Glimt. The first leg takes place in Bilbao before the return leg sees United boast home advantage. In the quarter-final, Amorim's side scored three late goals in extra-time to dramatically knock out Lyon in Manchester. Ahead of tonight, Bilbao have used social media to send a warning to United by including the celebrations of Harry Maguire's late winner against Lyon. Article continues below Slowed down footage of Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo celebrating against Lyon, Amad's celebration against Manchester City and Bruno Fernandes' goal against Real Sociedad with Gala's 'Freed From Desire' in the background was posted on the club's official TikTok page. A switch up in audio also followed with Oihan Sancet, Nico Williams and a jam-packed Sam Mames Stadium all included. The caption read; "Welcome to Sam Mames, welcome to hell."
