Benn was subsequently hit with a provisional suspension, which was eventually lifted as he now returns to home soil for the first time since April 2022. Both men came face-to-face for their headline act in north London where over 66,000 fans are expected to be in attendance with the action live on talkSPORT. However, it was a familiar scenario between Eubank Jr and Benn's promoter, Hearn, when the pair came to blows at Thursday's press conference. "I'm going to switch it up," Heard said as he began speaking at the press conference live from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Hearn then asserted how proud he was of Benn, adding that he couldn't wait for his client to 'smash Eubank Jr to pieces'. However, the Matchroom promoter didn't get much further as Eubank Jr persisted on continuously interrupting him. "I don't want to hear it," he said, adding that it was a boxing show and no one wanted to hear from Hearn. Matchroom CEO Smith, who is ironically married to Eubank Jr's sister and is his brother-in-law, then got on to stage. But he, unsurprisingly, hadn't any more luck, as Eubank Jr played into his irrelevancy anytime Smith attempted to speak. Both fighters remained largely reserved for the rest of the press conference, with Eubank Jr taking the lead for the most part.
