Jets pick LSU's Mason Taylor with No. 42 pick to fill tight end void

The Jets got their tight end. One night after passing on a tight end in the first round, the Jets took LSU tight end Mason Taylor in the second round with the No. 42 overall pick. Taylor joins a room that has Jeremy Ruckert and Stone Smartt in it. The Jets considered taking Penn State tight end Tyler Warren in the first round but drafted Missouri tackle Armand Membou instead. The Jets offense needed to add some pass catchers to join Garrett Wilson and help new quarterback Justin Fields.
