She said: "This morning any lingering rain and drizzle will clear from the Midlands and east. "Mist and fog will also clear slowly, but may linger on some southern and eastern coasts. "Otherwise, there'll be some sunny spells and just isolated light showers. "Cloud will build in the west through the afternoon bringing patchy rain or drizzle later. Highest temperatures of 13C to 17C." Overnight, it will remain cloudy with some outbreaks of rain returning for a time. She added: "Cloud will increase tonight and there'll be outbreaks of rain or drizzle mainly in the southwest, west and north. "Patches of mist and fog will form too. Linda said: "Tomorrow will be mild and quite cloudy with temperatures reaching 14C to 18C. "Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will clear from the west and north in the morning. "Mist and fog patches will also clear, but may linger near some coasts. "Otherwise, it'll be generally dry apart from the odd light shower with light to moderate southerly winds fresh at times towards Atlantic." "Nearby high pressure looks likely to bring plenty of dry weather for the rest of the week, with the daytime temperatures generally getting into the mid-teens."
