Nottingham live updates as heavy police presence and forensics spotted in city street
A heavy police presence including forensic teams have been spotted in a Nottingham street - with the road closed in both directions. An eyewitness in Grassington Road, near Western Boulevard, says police have been on the street since at least 10am on Saturday (April 26) - but the exact circumstances surround the incident remain unknown. An image submitted by one of our readers shows a small cordon in place in the residential street, with officers seen leaving and entering the area throughout the morning. Images also seem to show two forensic officers wearing white suits. Nottinghamshire Live has approched Nottinghamshire Police for comment on the incident.
